General Assistance funds enable the elderly and disabled clients to weather crises that might otherwise result in an in appropriate out-of-home placement or deterioration in their quality of life. Client must be receiving Adult Services or have an open Adult Protective Services case (APS cases will be given priority). GA assistance is available to clients whose needs cannot be met through other agency or community programs.
