The Staff Development and Support Program provides foundational services to facilitate the agency's service-provision to clients, to foster our clients' economic well-being, safety, and permanence within the community.
This area includes:
- Central Support Unit, which including records management, switchboard, reception, public safety, building maintenance, mail delivery, Voter Registration, and Work Permits
- Volunteer Services
- Information Technology
- Interpreter Unit, including Limited English Proficiency Compliance
- Staff development and training, agency newsletter, website
The goals of the Staff Development and Support Program are to strengthen the agency mission by facilitating the accurate and expedient input of client and worker data and making information readily accessible to workers; maintaining Information Technology equipment and systems for consistent access to client information and the capacity to input information; meeting unmet client needs with the provision of volunteer services to clients in supplement of established DSS programs; assisting LEP clients in a manner equitable to that of English-speaking clients; and providing staff with the training and developmental services to facilitate their ability to provide effective services to clients
