The General Services Department is comprised of four divisions:
Facilities is responsible for maintaining and improving existing County facilities, providing housekeeping and landscaping maintenance, and providing related services for our customers.
Purchasing provides centralized procurement services to all County departments while ensuring contracts are awarded to the lowest responsible bidders taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in proposals for the performance of contracts.
Fleet Services provides efficient management, maintenance and repair for the County-owned fleet of approximately 300 vehicles.
Road Signs provides signage for general directional purposes for the general public and to ensure all emergency response personnel can accurately respond to calls for service by repairing and/or replacing missing, damaged or illegible road signs and erecting new signs in new subdivisions.
